## Description

desertcart.com : DOCA Gardening Tools 5-12 Ft - Extension Pole for Tree Trimming, Fruit Picker, Roof Rake for Leaves - Pole Saw : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Review: Awesome saw! - This saw is great. I was able to cut down 3 small trees with the pruning saw and trim a lot of vines. I was also able to cut 10 branches from a chestnut tree that were hanging over my property and the roof of my garage. The thickest branch that I was able to cut was about 5 inches in diameter. I also used the saw to cut up some of the branches into smaller chunks once they were cut. It is very sharp and easy to use. The extensions work very well and are stable. However, there is something to be aware of: When cutting a thick branch, the saw blade can get "pinched" between the two halves of the branch. This can cause the saw to get stuck and if this happens while the saw is in the extension, then the extensions can get disconnected from each other and your saw blade can end up stuck in the tree. This happened to me once, but I was able to rescue the saw blade. This isn't meant to discourage you from buying this product - it's an amazing saw! But just be aware that this might happen. To keep this from happening, make sure to tighten the screws in the extensions often, and don't rush while cutting branches. Overall, this saw is a lifesaver and I was able to do the whole job myself without hiring outside help. I highly recommend this saw!
Review: One of the most useful pole attachments - We had some branches that were getting really overgrown against our house. But they were so high up that there was no way we could get to them. I thought we'd have to have a tree company out, until I found this saw attachment. I use this with a Mr. Longarm telescoping pole and it works really well. The blade is sharp and cuts through branches like butter. I was able to completely clean up our tall overgrown branches with this thing, and in a very short time. It took longer to clean up the cut-off branches than it did to saw through them. It was easier to use than I expected, perhaps due to the sharpness of the blade. To be fair, the branches I was cutting were mostly around an inch or so thick, so nothing particularly large. I also find this saw to be useful even without the pole. It cuts better than anything else I have, so I also use it on branches that I don't need a pole for. I'd like it if the whole thing was metal rather than just the blade. Despite the plastic, so far it seems to be quite sturdy and I've not had any signs of weakness from it. I'm really glad to have found this pole saw attachment.

## Features

- 2X Strength Tree Saw with Pole For Branches Less than 2" in Diameter: This telescoping tree pruner pole saw is designed for pruning and is our best high-reach dual-use pruning saw on the market
- Thumb Lever Clasps to Maintain Reach: Extend to needed length for branch, then tighten screws with screwdriver to prevent pole slippage. Screws can also be used to adjust thumb lever tension
- High Reach Tree Pruning Tools: Plenty of trimming reach so you never need a ladder again. For best results and to reduce flex, always extend and use the thicker lower pole segments first.
- Let The Saw Do The Work: Focus on back and forth cutting motions with the pole pruner and to minimize bend. High-quality aluminum telescoping pole features a universal threaded tip that can be used with a wide variety of attachments
- Razor Sharp 13 Inch Bi-Directional Blade With 3X Tooth Design: Our Dual-use saws can be used as pole saws for trimming or as hand-held for low pruning. Saw has sturdy, lightweight handle

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Fit's mr. long arm? 3/4 acme threads?**
A: Yes, the threaded insert used for the "GoSaw" is compatible with the acme-threaded tips on all Mr. LongArm poles. Please note that we have found the metal acme tip on the 16ft. Mr. LongArm pole sold at Home Depot is slightly longer than the tip on some of their other poles. The "GoSaw" still fits the tip on the 16ft pole but may need a firm last turn to fully seat. Use of the Set Screw on the underside of the handle will ensure the saw will stay secure on the tip of the Mr. LongArm pole (or any acme-threaded tip). I hope this reply answers your question. Jim the Owner.

**Q: What is the standard Acme Standard thread size???**
A: I don’t know what a “standard” acme size thread is, but relative to the GoSaw, the yellow handle I received does not have internal threads but depends on a small screw in the handle to clamp to the shaft of the pole. The screw did not clamp the handle securely to the Long-arm pole I have and I was afraid that if the saw got pinched in a limb the pole would pull out and leave the saw in the tree. So, I cut the plastic handle off a “standard” paint roller that screwed onto my pole and fit closely into the yellow handle and fastened it with a couple cross bolts. Now the saw screws securely onto the Long-arm and works great. I have no idea why the GoSaw folks did not thread the inside of the handle and what they mean by “standard” threads.

**Q: Does it come with a cover, or is one available for it?**
A: It comes in a thin cardboard sheath. It wouldn't serve well as a rugged cover to withstand rolling sound with other tools, but it works well for simple protection around the house. I use it.

**Q: Can the blade be sharpened?**
A: Noah, Thanks for you inquiry. Yes, the teeth of the GoSaw blade can be sharpened. It does take some work and correct type of file but, if you know how to do it, it can be done. If you keep the blade lightly oiled before and after pruning, the blade will stay sharp longer. Oil will help keep sap from gumming up the teeth. I hope this answers your question. Thanks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good purchase, good rake, screw housing broke immediately
*by N***E on February 21, 2026*

Love the product. Upgraded from the small, plastic rake part I bought 2 years ago. That old one lost 5 teeth after 3 years of heavy use. I’ve used this new one once. The metal forks work great and I was happy with the slider clamp. It stayed in place. Best of all, the rake screws on to my 30ft Doca pole tightly. One problem, and this needs to be fixed, is the screw housing immediately tore off, first use. Because of the tight fit, and the lower price I paid, under $18, I’m not returning it. If I had paid more, It would be an issue. The screw housing is a problem on both Doca brand rakes I bought, the metal adjustable and the small plastic one. So it would be nice if they updated the design with metal housing.
