Men's Delson- Axton Slip On Trainers

These are excellent "slip-on" real leather trainers from Skechers. As I anticipated, they appear to be well made, are light and comfortable - even when new and after an initial long walk to "break" them in.. There's good arch support and the memory foam insoles ensure a comfortable and reassuring fit. They are easily cleaned with a suede brush and their appearance improves with time. That said, when new, they are particularly tricky to put on. Indeed, don't expect to be able to just slide your feet in. I had to use a shoehorn for a couple of weeks. After that, I still hold the loop on the heel. Obviously, the leather softens and stretches over time - and I learnt the knack! The up side is that the trainers feel secure and unlikely to fall off even on the roughest terrain. I suspect they aren't 100% waterproof in deeper puddles, however, I have worn them in heavy downpours with no issues. With thick socks, they are nice and warm in winter but reasonably cool in summer. I normally take a UK size 12 and these fit me perfectly. As always, I find Skechers sizing is dependable. I am surprised some reviewers claim they are a bit small. I suspect that may be due to the difficulties with putting them on. I too was a tad worried. However, as I said, once in situ, the sizing is excellent and as I would expect. So, at the current Amazon promotional price (~£45), IMHO, these are a bit of a bargain. My only word of caution is regarding the "slip-on" claim in the listing.......

It feels amazing, course as a slip-on shoes easy to go on but they fit just perfectly, not too loose or tight,not had any issues when walking in rain, for the price least so far its worth the money, my other tied based shoes were constantly destroyed despite the money put in. In short, these shoes are great quality, comfortable, good in the rain and great to also drive the car with, I highly recommend this to anyone.

I really love these shoes. They are sooo comfy and look ok too. They’d get 5* apart from the fact they are wearing out and I’ve only had them about 4months and don’t wear them much.

What a comfortable pair of shoes. was a little concerned when I read a review which said they were tight to start with, especially as I have a high instep. But thought I would give them a try. They are tight to slip into but once in they are comfortable, they hug my foot without being tight and I feel I could wear them all day. Recommended

Very comfortable and smart looking for a trainer. Bought while discounted so they were really good value. Will be getting more once they are discounted again. They are true to size and the insoles is very comfy.

Bought for my husband, a bit tight at first, they are smart and real leather and very comfy, I ll be ordering more this Year.

No problem, nearly didn't buy them due to the reviews saying that they are difficult to slip on. I have a high instep and normally have problems with slip on shoes but these were perfect. comfortable and stylish. Glad I listened to my wife that they would be fine!!

They are comfortable and a decent fit but the colour of the shoes delivered is very different from the photograph for the item that I ordered. I strongly considered returning them but decided to spray them with protector and that changed the pale cocoa colour to a far darker and cooler brown - which is an acceptable colour.
