Review: Excellent low cost solution! - Excellent, cheap solution for my garage utility room! I recently bought a 1930’s house with a multitude of bad diy to rectify. The garage is too small for a car and had been partially carpeted to use as a storage unit. I ripped out the carpet and underneath were crumbling floor tiles that I didn’t dare interfere with given the potential asbestos risk. After costing up ‘proper’ flooring options, I took a gamble to see if these floor tiles would even out the flooring and provide a suitable base for an eventual cheap utility area and my tools. I bought 32 tiles for just under £90, and it has been a brilliant purchase. It has evened out the floor and the tiles seem robust enough to survive having tools and diy equipment stored directly on them. In terms of other pros: - they are larger than most ‘gym’ mats I reviewed and slightly thicker which helped. I reckon it took me 1.5 hrs to lay them all and insert the edging. - the edging pieces really finish them off well. - the pattern on mine was all the same (I read another older review where it was not). - they haven’t moved or slipped in the six weeks since I laid them. - they clearly came straight from the manufacturer as they packaged in manufactures cellophane 10 in two packets and 12 in the third one. I initially thought I’d been short changed! - a positive only relevant to me but I hope you appreciate how VERY satisfying it is… as if by magic, the 32 tiles fit my garage EXACTLY. I didn’t need to cut a single one or buy extra! In terms of cons: - this is only a minor point but the raised pattern makes it very hard to clean. There are little bits of dust and wood shavings in the groves of mine and my hoover tried to dent one of the tiles so it’s definitely best to stick to a brush. I’ve attached photos showing the before, middle and after installation so you can see how easy it is to put together. Overall, I’d recommend. They seem far better quality than my daughter’s play tiles (an option I did consider!) and the price is really reasonable in my view.

I have never known any person or company respond so quickly to a message and sort a delivery concern out so quickly and so pro actively. On that basis alone I would highly recommend their seller. The matting is fit for purpose and very clever in that it comes with a profile that can be used square OR remove the edges and slots together like a jigsaw. It’s very easy to install. Also comes with some sticky pads to help adhere It is fit for purpose (installed on top of carpet to reduce noise in a room we’ve made into a little gym) The matting is comfortable and sturdy. Good quality and great value for money. No complaints at all. Thankyou

**Q: Hi, what is the size of one tile in centimetres?**
A: Each tile is 60 cm x 60 cm excluding borders. (Each flooring mat covers 0.36 Square Meter )

**Q: Could you suggest a good adhesive to fix the tiles to a painted wall?**
A: CT1 or Hippo Pro3

**Q: What thickness are these?**
A: New, they are approx 10mm thick. They feel quite firm under foot but if heavy items such as gym equipment are placed on them they squash down considerably.

**Q: Some of the reviews refer to different sizes, when I look at the product description I can’t see any reference about what this means? Can you explain?**
A: They are in modules of 600x600. Pack sizes will determine the overall square meterage.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Protects the floor and looks good.

It fulfils its purpose of protecting the floor, its just a bit finicky because it can cause ridges in the mat due to weight added to the mats. This mat is holding 2x40KG adjustable dumbbells on a stand, and the raised mat area becomes a real nuisance. After some fiddling, I ended up adding some weight to the front of it too which seems to have kept it down. Whether or not constant lifting and putting weights back onto the stand again will cause this to bend/rise again I am not sure. It's not necessarily a fault with the product, we have thick carpet and this is going on top of it without any sticky adhesive going directly onto the carpet, so, I am understanding why this is happening, it's just a bit of a nuisance. The product is of good quality and I thought the price for 4 is pretty good.
