My daughter absolutely loves this helmet! It fits well and is comfortable to wear. When she took a tumble off her horse, it did its job! Bonus, its super cute and vibrant colors.

Very nice helmet for my daughter to wear while riding horses. She loves the cheetah print on it. It is well made and comfortable.

Like the design and fit, use it for horse therapeutic riding and stays in place even with movement, adjustable knob on the back

Great fit and good quality. My kid is 7yr old and is wearing a size small. I had gotten her a size xs but it was too small. The size small is perfect, i have it on the tightest level so we’ll be able to loosen it up as she gets older. I think she’ll be able to wear it for another 2-3 years.

Good helmet, does what it should do, Not much special about it though I do like the little cover thing (I don’t know what it’s called) really good for shade in the summer! Straps adjust easily, very shiny and looks cool, ventilation is ok, nothing special, overall really nice

So I picked this helmet out because I knew my daughter would love the pink and purple colors with the horse. I also have owned several Troxel helmets myself and have always been very happy. I will say that this helmet does fit her - it seems a little heavy and also it's not really "sized" smaller - it just seems there is more padding on the inside of a shell that could be used from everything from XS to XS. My daughter is 6 years old and has been taking riding lessons/pony rides since she was 2 year old so I felt it was time for her own helmet. I do feel there are other options out there for little kids that sizing wise would be better for little heads. (The other girls all have Ovation helmets that look like they fit a bit better) However she LOVES her helmet and I do like the adjustable part at the back that can come down under her ponytail. I also have no issues with safety or function - I know this will protect her precious little head. I just wish overall it was a little lighter and the shell was a little smaller.
