It was missing the usual plastic seal outside the jar and the seal inside the jar. It arrived just in a plastic bag and exploded all over. Unfortunate because I enjoy the product. There isn't a way to return or exchange this product.

A: It's product of Korea which is the original country for making bean paste. It's full ingredients are: soybean paste(soybean, wheat flour, salt, water, wheat), garlic, onion, ginger, red pepper powder, green onion, Jalapeno Pepper, dried anchovy, dried kelp. As a person who has eaten bean paste stew lifelong, its taste is very good with its deep flavor.

**Q: Is it non-GMO?**
A: I don't know since it doesn't show on the package but it says "No-artificial flavor, No MSG".

**Q: Can you make a bean paste stwe with this?**
A: Yes, you can make stew and jeeghe with it. This paste is very high quality with complex flavors.

**Q: Is this so bean paste aged like miso? and is it non-gmo soy beans?**
A: I don't know if it's non-GMO is or not since it doesn't show it on the package. This is a Korean traditional bean paste which is totally different flavor from Japanese ones. They are same soybean used for its ingredients but its way of made and flavor and benefits are totally different. Japanese ones are more salty and light flavor for miso soup. Korean bean paste is usually used for stew, not light soup. You can put zuccini, pepper, tofu, beef or clams and more to make yummy bean paste stew. It's healthy and tasty.

I really wanted to like this product but never got the chance to cause when I opened the tab….there was no seal on the product. I don’t know if others are receiving it that way but totally not safe to consume something that you just bought that lacks the seal. Now that I think about it - isn’t this some type of violation - selling food to be consumed that is not sealed other than from a restaurant?
