It is not possible to 'catch' a mouth ulcer through kissing or sharing drinks becuase they aren't caused by an infection. Review: They do work - When I opened these little sucky watsits, I got the distinct smell of Devils Lettuce/ the old Jazz Woodbine, happy memories. But, alas, no, there was no stonage or happy times to be had. There is no taste to them at all. I placed it on the tip of my tongue where my ulcer is. I’m not gonna lie, it took forever (half n hour) to dissolve, and it left my lips sticky as. I was out at the time and wish I had a wet wipe to clean my gob. But, I was pain free for about 5 hours. They do REALLY WORK. Bonjella sucks, that didn’t touch it. I also have ANBESOL, which is better than bonjella, easier and less sticky than the IGLU. Takes seconds to do ... under a denture is always down to the denture rubbing the skin on your gum. Nothing will get under to heal it .. you’ll have to stop wearing it and it will more than likely to b sore again . If you have already had the denture adapted .. then if you take it out every opitunity you can and suck these .. they do eirk quickly ... also a good rinse with warm salty warm .. swishing it about .. salt makes wonderful healing mouth wash. Nothing at all will heal a denture rubbing .. you will end up with an ulcer type thing which will take months of no dentures in to heal . The relief you’ll get when your denture gets adjusted will amaze you . You may have to suck these off and on , especially at bed time with your denture out for a day or two to help the sore spot to heal after the adjustment .
