some jeeps have a 5.5 bolt pattern and others 4.5 what are these for 5 on 5.5 or 5 on 4.5 ? i would hate to order them and be for the wrong wheels...

Yes this will fit a 99 xj. I used it in my 97 xJ. They fit 97 through 2001 xj.

I believe it was. It was a good bearing to buy, not sure if it's better than the others.

Will this fit a 99 TJ ? I read that the 99 year had a change mid year with the type of assembly

It fit my 1999 TJ Sahara. The front Dana 30 axle should be the same on every TJ with the exception of the Rubicon which is a Dana 44.
