Bescor LED-95DK2 Video Light Kit with Two Panels, Pieces Floor Stands and AC Adaptors

I've used these lights for several years now and they get the job done. If the light is too harsh, put some diffusion cloth or even a piece of computer paper over them. Having the ability to dim them is super nice and they're very lightweight and easy to maneuver due to the plastic casing and ability to power them with double A batteries (I use rechargeable and don't worry about cost). These are a great grab and go set that I've used for several events over the years as well as a professional commercial for my company. There are better lights out there but these do the job they're intended for and they do it well enough. Don't blame user error on the lights. Learn to be flexible. My biggest complaint about these lights was the stands. Be gentle with the stands as I've tried to force them and broken them in several spots. Not going to take away a star as I don't feel it has anything to do with the lights themselves. Can't say anything about shipping as that's an Amazon issue.

Price was good for these lights, good lighting. Great portability , unfortunately the inside of this panel is made poorly in terms of stability . The inside light panel easily becomes detached And then the light can go off and on, the ac plug is no better . I have sent these back twice within a 4 month time period. Look for alternative lighting panels may cost more but , you don't want to get caught with these on a job and they fail like I experienced. Good luck

I bought these lights under a time and budget crunch. I will do my best to keep this as constructive and informative as possible. The challenges are that the power supplies are not long enough to be practical, I have yet to be able to open what I assume are battery compartments, and the stands are flimsy and awkward to use. I tried to use them to light a wall that was being used as a blue screen, but because of the limitations of the power supply and the actual throw of the panels, I was unable to do so. Beyond that, I have not found any practical use for the kit. I would recommend the manufacturer improve the stands and the power supply.

One unit was broken on arrival. The LED board had broken off all six mounting points in the case. Must have taken a huge drop at the factory, because the second unit in the same box was perfect. Judging by the other reviews, this company has major quality control issues. Having said that - once I repaired the broken unit myself - both powered up and emitted light. The dimmer feature is more helpful than I expected. I give it three stars: the manufacturing is cheap, but these are an inexpensive solution for small illumination needs.

These are relatively cheap LED lights. So when you are buying them, keep that in mind. They get really bright and have decent throw. Being able to change the intensities is a hug plus. They are very lightweight, never get hot, and you can even power them with 6 AAs and carry them around. I have used these for product shots, interviews, and some various nighttime "onboard" Camera lights. They emit an even color that closely matches up with the color temp of the Sun.

I can't believe they actually sell these things to people with a clear conscience. The stands are worthless. The mounting points on the lights where the stands go are worthless. The power switch is barely mounted in the frame. The intensity slider is cheaper than a 2 dollar ____(fill in the blank). The ac/dc converter cables are not long enough to use, when the lights are mounted on the stands the adapters' cords do not reach from the light to the ground. One of the lights arrived with removable plastic protection over the clear lexan "protecting" the lights. When I pulled of the protective layer the whole piece of lexan popped out. After inspection I found out the lexan is not held in with adhesive, screws, or any other fastener. Just kind of pressure fitted. They are bright, but that is it. If these were $20 bucks I could see using them once or twice and maybe duktaping them together. But these were $250 bucks. I'm not expecting brushed aluminum frames and microswitched power, just decently put together plastic would have been nice. Adorama took the return but I was still out the shipping cost. Still better than being stuck with them. !!!DO NOT BUY!!!

This light kit is very cheaply made product. The dimmer does not work well at all. One was bad from the factory and had to get it replaced and they charged me for it without apologizing. This kit has since been discontinued but don't buy any Bescor products. I long for the days when we at least had an option to buy American made products. It's worth the extra money to get quality. The photo here is not the light kit!

The panels light dimmer excellent but fails where the batteries are the springs safari. The floor stands work great but are low quality and break easily.
