DB-4848N Bright Aluminum 48" x 48" Double-Door Dog Box with Full Enclosure & Storage

Vehicle: 2013 Ford F350 We purchased this box a couple months ago and have really enjoyed having it. Previously, I’ve never had to worry about my dogs jumping out of the back of a moving truck until my wife brought home two (2) unique Border Collie puppies one evening... We purchased a large dog bed for each side so they had a bit more cushion and traction. They have plenty of room to be comfortable and turn around, even with Clyde’s usually large skeletal stature. The box itself is the near perfect balance of durable and lightweight. I would recommend loading it into your vehicle with a friend, as having another person’s help makes life simple. Though I was able to get it done by myself as per the Amazon recommendation I read before purchase, it was a humbling task to lift this lightweight but still very large kennel onto my tailgate. Long story short, it’s made our mountain adventures more enjoyable and trips to the park stress free. Highly recommend the product and the company who’s providing it.

The vehicle specs said: This does not fit 2022 Ram 1500 Check another vehicle WRONG - The Box dimensions fit my truck perfectly!!! Measure your bed then look at the dimensions listed. This is a nice box. Lots of room for 2 dogs tool box on top is handy. My only complaint is the walls get dented easily. They are very thin. It’s a little difficult to figure out how to secure it in the bed. I used ratchet tie downs so I could remove it when not in use. It is a little expensive for my taste but it looks good in the truck. There are 2 sets of keys on the inside handle. Don’t forget to look for them.

Now this might seem a bit pricey in the beginning but in the end this Kennel is highly durable, Easy to clean and exceptionally functional with the large storage area on the top I highly recommend this product to anyone needing a large kennel for 2 dogs. This unit carries my 2 Newfoundland's and they love it!

Definitely would not buy this showed up crumpled like a tin cans full of jagged edges inside if you don’t care about your dog or their safety then this is your way to go but if you’re an actual human and care about your animals probably find something better than this

I’m really starting to like my box. I just wish it was a little sturdier but overall I’m satisfied.

I like this kennel a lot. It was pretty expensive compared to some kennels but much cheaper than a canopy and even more importantly I can put it in and remove it by myself unlike removing a canopy. Its also far more attractive! I was hesitant to order it because Amazon said it wouldn't fit my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic short box but it does. I measured the truck and read the dimensions and decided to take a chance since it was the best option I found for my 85 pound labs. It does take up most of the bed of my truck but I'm usually only hauling dogs or hauling dirt or something and never both. I'm 51 and female and got it into the bed myself. Its big and awkward but manageable. I love it. Its well made and the storage area and tie down rack on top will be very handy for camping and such.

Received yesterday, material is thinner than expected, bows easily when moving. Listing states it is a two compartment dog unit, but when opening the doors it is just one massive area. No separation, no divider, nothing. While doesn't defeat the purpose entirely for my need, does allow for a lot more internal movement than I wanted, which is why I bought it with two compartments, to minimize movement during travel. Had to finish assembling the locks and latch of the doors, neither one of them were done correctly and only thing keeping the doors closed upon shipment was the shrink wrap. For the price tag, I'm really not impressed by it at all, and if my need for it wasn't so immediate I would have shipped it back as faulty product. Haven't found any way to get ahold of the company either.
