By selecting LINE on the rear switch it uses the built in pre amp Enabling its use with powered speakers. By selecting PHONO on the rear switch it bypasses the internal preamp so it can be connected to the PHONO input on a separate hi Fi amplifier. It also outputs a digital signal to plug into a PC via USB lead to digitise your vinyl via software such as Audacity. So the answer is YES.

I’ve used ion and Victrola and both skip plz tell me does this one skip, I won’t have a cd on it as the others do but I need quality play?

What is the best amp to buy with this turntable

Why is there a man here saying he purchased a dolby atmos amplifier in 1999!? Just so you all know, Dolby Atmos didn't come around for circa 20 years after he bought this. The best amp you can get for this TT is the one you can afford. There are so many at so many different prices, this question is unanswerable I'm afraid.

This comes with a stylus for 33/45, but you will need to purchase a specific stylus for 78s if you wanted to play those records.
