**Q: Has anyone had problems with hummbirds not like the preservative?**
A: I've been using this stuff for probably 10 years and I have no problem with them liking it they love it it takes good care of keeping my feeder fresh I would recommend it

**Q: Does the bottle show an expiration date? If I don't use it up this year, will it still be good next year?**
A: The bottles do not have expiration dates on them, but the bag they come in does.  I bought mine this year and they don’t expire until12/2026

**Q: Should the hummingbird nectar preservative be refrigerated?**
A: We do not refrigerate the nectar preservative. It's not required.

**Q: Anyone know the milligram per liter concentration of copper sulfate in this stuff?**
A: All it says on the bottle is that copper sulfate is a micronutrient; no percentages.

I absolutely love this product. I first heard about it at my local bird store, and now I won’t make hummingbird nectar without it. This stuff really works! Had my doubts about buying this stuff at first. So many gimmicks out there. With this horrible hot weather we've been having though, I was getting really tired of mixing sugar water every few days. What I noticed right away after the first use, was that the nectar was staying perfectly clear in the feeder! I couldn't believe that the birds were hitting the nectar after 5 days. I actually felt a bit weird about it, having been used to changing nectar out every 2 or 3 days. I actually felt guilty at first. I think the longest I've gone between nectar changes so far, is 6 days. I'm not sure how long I could let it go, because I start to feel guilty at that point. I know. Silly. Bottom line, it this stuff makes the nectar last a long time, is safe for the birds, and you only need a small cap-full for a whole quart of nectar!
