Reciprocating Saw, 10-Amp (DWE304)

Having been a professional carpenter for 42 years, I have a lot of experience with power tools. What I like about Dewalt tools is that they have the power and dependability for professionals, but are comfortable for homeowners to use easily. This saw is a good example. It is light enough for someone without a lot of experience to use comfortably, and yet I have used this model for many years in my career. It has never let me down. There were rare occasions that I might have wanted a more powerful saw, but 99% of the time this saw was plenty strong. It is the perfect sawzall for pruning.I love the easy way to change blades! I would recommend this saw for anyone looking for a dependable tool for most jobs.

I haven't had any complaints about the motor and its power output.

They work pretty good

A great tool at a great price. I bought a similar Skil saw for $40, but ended up leaving it at our vacation house. When it came time to get a replacement for home, the Skil had gone up to $50, and this was down to $70, which made it a no brainer. The Skil is nice, but this saw is more powerful (10A vs 7.5), with a slightly higher max speed, all in the same size package, at the same weight. As well, it has a clever chuck that allows for easy side cutting. Just a well thought out power tool, as one expects from DeWalt. But one caveat is that is saw for some reason vibrates a lot more than the Skil.

I purchased this saw for pruning Crepe Myrtles, the over grown hedges & bushes that just seem to grow too fast. In the past it would take me 2 months to do what I did with this saw is 2 days! I was around power tools all my life but this is the First one I bought for myself. I was always told as a kid to Work Smarter not Harder! This DeWalt Saw checks all the boxes. Its light weight, you can use any brand of blade with it, its so easy to operate and it will rise to any task you need to achieve. I have a little Black & Yellow helper now:)

This tool is an exceptional value. The low price reflects the fact that this is a bare tool. There is no bag, case, or anything else. You get the tool; that's it. I love the DeWalt blade change system; just pull out the lever, take out the blade, drop in a new blade, and let go of the lever. Light years ahead of the old Alan screw designs! You can also insert the blade facing back or forward, depending on the application. You can also insert it 90-degrees to the tool, making it a very versatile saws all. The tool has plenty of power; I've bent and broken a lot of blades but never have bound up the saw where it stopped running. There is little to no play in the shaft, so cutting a true line is about as easy as you can get with a reciprocating saw. The foot design is very heavy duty and rigid. The fact that the foot doesn't flex could cause marring, but I seldom care about that since i use a sawsall almost exclusively​ for demo work.

Love this saw, so much easier to change blades than my old 20+ year saw. Great upgrade. Wished it came in a case thou.

This saw cuts well and can turn on the after burners if you want. Just a great tool. The blades bend easily but that could be on me. The blade hook up is simple and the unit is easy to operate. A win win purchase.

En la caja solo viene la máquina y instructivo, NO Incluye la hoja de corte como indica la publicación, eso me decepcióno. La máquina se nota de calidad, compré una paquete de hojas y la comence a usar, tiene una buena potencia, y una construcción robusta, espero dure mucho tiempo.
