Unfortunately once I plugged it in and tried to use it, it was a different story. The website says 'Please make sure your electronic device has a program" Media Player" - in fact what they meant by that is that you need to install VLC Media player, which is clear from the leaflet which comes with it. Other DVD Software can't play DVD's from it - or at least I couldn't get my other media players to do so. Using VLC player it took ages to actually recognise the DVD in the tray and even longer to actually load the DVD for me to play it. So I am sending it back for a refund as not any use for its intended purpose ### ⭐ Didn't work *by A***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 September 2020* I bought it so that my daughter could install some disk based games on her laptop. I tried the drive on three different PC's (one Windows 10 and two Windows 7) and it didn't work on any of them.One wouldn't recognise the drive at all and the other two recognised it, but wouldn't read any disks that were put into it.The manufacturer recommends that you download some third party software, but it didn't work with that either.This really should just work out of the box. Mac computer recognised it, disc played.
