Really well made and intuitive flashlight design. Super easy to mount on any arc rail and the flashlight itself is able to be dismounted from the mount within seconds should you need it freehand. The construction is sturdy and thick enough to handle a couple falls though I feel like the mount has some weak spots like the pivoting mechanism which doesnt feel too sturdy. That being said, the mount DOES have a pivoting feature so you can adjust the light to whatever angle you want it to shine on from your helmet which I found super handy. As for the light itself, it is definitely bright enough for indoor/cqb use. I have not tested it outside so I cannot say how far it is able to project. The flashlight does have a focused beam mode and a floodlight mode that can be switched back and forth simply by moving the head of the light forward or backward, useful if you need focused light or just a lot of it All in all, this is a fantastic tactical helmet light for all airsofters or cosplayers ESPECIALLY for the value you are paying for, it is absolutely a steal when comparing to other tactical lights. Military or LE may find use for it as well but I am neither so I'll let the professionals decide for themselves on this one.

Decent little flashlight for my ballistic ACH helmet. Has 3 modes, bright, less bright and strobe. Also the diameter of the light coverage can be adjusted easily. Works great for my purposes

The light started doing that cheap flashligh flicker after i started using it. The mount works good though on my cheap little camo helmet with a nvg10.

it has a bit of slop on the arc rail,nothing that cant be solved with some tape and ranger knowhow... so it will rattle but you can fix that. it will allow other types or IR lights to mount on and thats a HUGE PLUS.. there a IR light made EXACTLY like this light with no mount for half the price so buy BOTH..and you can use both with NODS or non NODS in a snap... the mount makes this so worth buying...and you might have part of the mount with a helmet setup that fix the slop/rattle issue... as for the strap white letters...lol GET SOME PAINT GUYS....your not gonna run a black light on a camo helmet ARE YOU? sharpe works too...but some paint will be better . its a nice settup without spending uncle sam money...

I wasn't expecting the flashlight to be too great being I felt I was paying solely for the mount, so I am not disappointed. The flashlight would be good for inside a dark building, however outside it does not do too well for illumination. The mount is solid and holds my higher quality flashlight on my helmet with ease and a little adjustability, so I feel I got my money's worth.

So you want an honest opinion about this, this thing slips right in and it OK on its durability. Let me give it a few more go around a and I’ll let you know. I really did expect this light to be brighter. I do love the swivel mount, think it would almost be worth it to get another just because it’s not bright, though it’s inconvenient. That being said I think it’s over priced for how little bright it is. That being said it’s a three star. I do like the compact look of it, and you CAN put a different light on it... just don’t go crazy..

Nice and bright for about 15 minutes. Then gets dimmer and dimmer. Can’t even walk one mile with it. It goes out before I get zero light! Another piece of junk!

Very nice light. Fits very well into to the rail on my helmet with no movement. It's a powerful light even on the low setting. Would highly recommend. Very high quality and cool little setup. <3 It also doesn't stick too far out of the helmet so it shouldn't get caught on anything.

Love the three modes it comes with. Fits nicely on my helmet, yet the mount seems like it'll snap

Velcro strap is pretty flimsy and comes off if you try to install larger flashlights, the plastic mount is cheap but has hold up so far. Do yourself a favor and buy the next one up, this is barely useful for airsoft let alone tactical/outdoor use.
