This doesn't 100% eliminate that but it certainly made a difference. I used Amsoil once, and noticed that after about 10k miles, it felt like I needed to change the fluid again - the redline lasts at least 25k (I won't run any MTF for longer than that in my car), and is still smooth. You'll notice the shifting is smoother and the car just feels smoother - it's a noticeable change, and works better than the newer formulated Honda MTF as well. Amsoil is good initially, but having to change it more frequently than the Redline is why I've been putting this in my car for the last 50k miles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beats AMSOIL!!! *by on Reviewed in the United States February 11, 2012* So before you go out and buy this stuff I highly recommend you consult the Redline website and make sure which application is correct for your car. That being said, at 45,000 miles I drained my transmission on my 2008 Civic Si and filled it up with an AMSOIL product. I'll be honest, that stuff worked great, and now at 78,000 I just drained it again and decided to go with Redline instead just because I've used their products and in the past and never had a problem. After filling the transmission with Redline, shifts are buttery smooth, regardless of the weather. With AMSOIL I had issues in the morning upon start-up when its cold outside, with Redline MTL shifts are just as smooth in the morning as they are after driving around for awhile. Great product I'd recommend to anyone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for Mazdas *by on Reviewed in the United States January 9, 2013* Mazda calls for 70W-80 gear oil which is a non standard weight and not many people make it. It is an improvement over the stock fluid. It is not a huge difference but the shifts are a little smoother and take less effort. But a worth while investment if you are going to change your gear oil.
