Review: Great screen tent - This is a great tent! Very easy to put up, clear instructions. We purchased a similar one from Vevor brand, but returned it due to very poor build quality. This Clam tent has big strong hubs and poles, the poles strap into place on the sides which are of a thick sturdy material. We have used and loved Gazelle tents before, and this Clam seems to be very similar quality. If you add the sides and the rain fly, which are sold separately, it comes to about the same price as the Gazelle tent, which automatically includes those things. So you have an option here to have a plain screen tent for a lower cost, or add the extra panels.
Review: Love the open bug net on roof panels on this model - We had ours now for almost five years and still love it. Our favorite feature is the open screen in the ceiling. This is unique with this model and it gives us so much more viewing of trees and sky and it keeps canopy cooler. Downside is you need to purchase a separate rain tarp and this canopy is hard to transport because it is so tall. Ease of setup / take down: Excellent - incredibly easy ONCE you know how to do it. Watch a video and practice in your back yard. Functionality: Excellent - Love having shelter from the bugs and extra view plus heat escape with mesh sky panels. Also size is great for offering plenty of space to spread out / eat / sleep etc. Waterproof: OK - but you Need to purchase a separate rain tarp. We also purchased storm walls which are handy if its really windy. Value for Money: Good - it's expensive especially when you add rain tarp but ours has lasted very well over five years. To keep it lasting many years you need to be sure to let it dry out completely before you store it. Portability: Poor. This thing is long and it is heavy. Hard to see how you transport this in even an medium SUV unless you put down a seat. My wife and I keep it in the above cab section of our class C RV and pull it out whenever their are bugs in the campsite (which is often in the PNW).

This is a great tent! Very easy to put up, clear instructions. We purchased a similar one from Vevor brand, but returned it due to very poor build quality. This Clam tent has big strong hubs and poles, the poles strap into place on the sides which are of a thick sturdy material. We have used and loved Gazelle tents before, and this Clam seems to be very similar quality. If you add the sides and the rain fly, which are sold separately, it comes to about the same price as the Gazelle tent, which automatically includes those things. So you have an option here to have a plain screen tent for a lower cost, or add the extra panels.
