What are the internal dimensions of the case?

Unfortunately, no. The Sony bluetooth noise-cancelling headphones fold in the wrong direction to work with this case, which is made for the classic Sony cans like 7506 and 7509. I found a replacement case for my WH-1000XM4 on that giant auction website everybody has heard of where you can buy used and new stuff. Still super annoyed that I left the original case tucked into the back of an airline seat...

With a pair of sony mdr-7506 headphones, is there enough extra space to fit a trackball in the case?

Depending on size of the trackball - there's a bit of depth there on the lid to possibly fit something in but it would be tight. The headphones fill the base.
