3DLAC Plus - Spray Bottle Adhesive for Printer 3D Printing - 100 ml

I updated to a couple of new printers that came with Textured PEI build plates. These are naturally grippy but I did find that with some PLA filaments they let go during printing. So I needed a clean solution to my problem. Glue sticks just would not do for a textured build plate. I needed something cleaner and more effective. A friend recommended 3DLAC. What can I say? It works brilliantly. The spray goes on easily, giving good cover across the plate. It adds just the right amount of tackiness to secure the 3D item, even with a cold plate. When removing the 3D item a light flexing of the plate releases. The 3DLAC can be removed by lightly washing the plate in clean soapy water and a microfibre cloth. This gets it ready to be recoated as required. I also add further coats as the printer is used, only washing the plate clean after a build-up of 3DLAC is noticeable. This is a great solution for build plates. I won't be using any other method from now on.

I use a Bambu A1mini with the standard speckled plate. I print in PLA and PETG. Keeping the plate scrupulously clean, avoiding fingerprints, etc, works very well until the plate is a little "worn-in". Then it starts to let go at the edges of prints, or loses grip on tall, slender prints. I bought some 3dLAC. Shook the spray bottle very well, then applied a meagre amount across the suface. There was an immediate 100% improvement in adhesion. Removal of prints is fine also. As advertised, let the bed plate cool, and the print releases without effort. I apply a tiny amount to the bed about every 12 prints, and that seems to maintain the surface nicely. I strongly recommend this spray using Bambu A1's with these PLA and PETG

I had had several failed attempts to print a particular object; each time the print would not stick to the bed despite levelling, cleaning, and all the usual stuff, (including, out of desperation, a glue stick). I thought I'd give this a go, and instantly the print stuck perfectly. Nothing else had changed, so it can only be this product that made the difference, but the initial layers stuck really well, and went down smoothly and uniformly, just as they should. To be honest I can't really see why it works, because it doesn't leave any tacky feeling to the bed, but it clearly makes a huge difference and will be my 'go to' solution from now on. It does leave quite a pungent smell for a minute or two (sort of like a contact adhesive smell), but that passes pretty quickly and it is then odourless. I put maybe four squirts on the bed for each print. I guess for the size bottle (100ml), it is fairly expensive, but then if you're saving the wasted time, filament and electricity of failed prints I reckon it's reasonable priced. When the bed has cooled my experience was that the print literally falls off with a gentle nudge, and it doesn't seem to leave any residue at all.

After the first pump spray vanished mid delivery.. Replacement bottle arrived and it works just as well in it's previous incarnation aerosol spray.. Small bottle , pump action, liberal spritz and the print is stuck firm to the glass bed. I've always used 3d Lac aerosol as it's No hassle printing, at least as far as bed adhesion goes ! With the aerosol spray I would spray Monday and have a week to ten days of great prints, wash the glass , spray and printing again. Highly recommend this product

Extremely powerful adhesion. After you spray it you csn print a bunch of times without having to reapply. Pay attention as some PLAs are weaker so if you print something with flimsy joonts, you risk breaking them. Good product. Quite easy to use.

Bara en snabb spray på byggyta och filamentet fäster bra vid varm byggyta, släpper lätt efter avsvalning. Behöver inte spraya vid varje utskrift så det är drygt. Lämnar inga spår eller märken efteråt på utskriften.

Werkt echt perfect voor ABS en ASA op bambu lab textured pei hot plate. Makkelijk met een beetje louw water te verwijderen. Gebruik het zelfs voor pla als het hele kleine onderdeeltjes zijn dan hoef ik geen brim te maken.

Sulla mia presa mini+ mi basta una spruzzata ogni 10 stampe circa per avere adesione sempre perfetta anche per stampe con basi molto piccole. Mi ha risolto anche le stampe a basi molto larghe con sviluppo in altezza notevole dove lo scollamento agli angoli era prima abbastanza frequente. Con PLA e PETG perfetta, con TPU o flex in generale bisogna metterne veramente poco altrimenti non si stacca praticamente più.

Un buen producto para evitar el warping si no quieres usar laca Nelly. El único fallo que tiene es su bote en el que se sale el producto por la rosca, la solución es ponerlo en otro bote con pulverizador.

Nachdem mein neuer Ender 5 Plus eine Anzahl an erfolgreichen Drucken hinter sich gebracht hatte, bemerkte ich, dass das serienmäßige Druckbett, eine beschichtete Glasplatte, immer wieder einmal die Haftung verlor. Dabei gingen teilweise die Druckobjekte ganz verloren oder es trat ein Warpingeffekt auf, wobei sich die Ecken des Objekts leicht nach oben vom Druckbett abhoben. Als erster Gedanke spielte natürlich eine gründliche Reinigung der Glasplatte eine Rolle sowie das Neulevelling der Druckbetthöhe. Gesagt, getan, eine Reinigung mit Glasreiniger und eine Neuausrichtung der Druckplatte brachten jedoch keinen Erfolg, eher im Gegenteil, die Haftung schien mit der Zeit gänzlich verloren. Eine weitere Reinigung mit Isopropanol verstärkte sogar noch den Effekt der Nichthaftung, aufgedruckte Objekte wurden schon mit der ersten Schicht auf dem Druckbett herum geschoben, eine Haftung fand fast gar nicht mehr statt. Mit dieser Problematik war ich offensichtlich nicht alleine, wie meine Recherchen schnell zeigten. In diesem Zuge versprachen diverse Sprays Abhilfe und so bestellte ich das Fixierspray von 3DLAC. 3DLAC ist einfach in der Anwendung. Nach gründlicher Reinigung der Druckplatte besprüht man diese in kaltem Zustand mit einigen Pumpstößen und lässt es kurz eintrocknen. Das ist auch schon die gesamte Prozedur. Nachfolgende Drucke haften wieder und das deutlich besser als ehemals im Neuzustand ohne Fixierspray. Einzig fällt auf, dass der Sprühkopf leider nicht gleichmäßig vernebelt, es setzen sich immer wieder fette Tropfen der Flüssigkeit auf der zu besprühenden Fläche ab. Dies hat aber keinen Einfluss auf die Haftung. Beim Sprühen sollte man darauf achten, dass man nicht unmittelbar auf Gestänge, Gewinde, Antrieb, Druckkopf usw. zielt, sondern immer direkt das Druckbett ins Visier nimmt. Behelfen kann man sich damit, indem man z.B. ein paar alte Lappen seitlich neben dem Druckbett überhängt, so dass auftretender Sprühnebel dort abgehalten wird. Leider ist das 3DLAC Fixierspray sehr teuer und sicherlich ein Hinderungsgrund zum Kauf, aber man braucht relativ wenig davon, denn ein einziger Sprühvorgang reicht für etliche vollhaftende Drucke. Bei Druckobjekten mit großer Flächenauflage am Druckbett ist zu beachten, dass der Druck, um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden, unbedingt erst nach vollständiger Abkühlung des Heizbettes abgelöst werden soll. Meist löst er sich dann fast von alleine ab, während bei noch warmem Druckbett das Ablösen nur mit Gewalt und eventueller Beschädigung funktioniert. Also Geduld bewahren und alles erst gut auskühlen lassen. Getestet habe ich mit einigen PLA Materialien unterschiedlicher Hersteller, wobei keinerlei Haftungsunterschiede festzustellen waren. Fazit: 3DLAC ist ein probates Mittel zur Haftungsverstärkung von Druckobjekten auf Glasheizbetten. Leicht aufzutragen und wenig geruchsbelastend, da nur in der kurzen Trocknungsphase Lösungsmittelgerüche auftreten. In der Praxis haften die Drucke hervorragend und sicher und einmal gesprüht reicht die Haftung für sicherlich 10-20 Druckvorgänge. Der Preis ist dennoch deutlich zu teuer. + Leichte und sichere Anwendung + Sehr gute Haftung + Sparsam in der Anwendung - Sehr teuer - Sprühkopf spuckt und tropft - Kein sauberer Sprühnebel - Wartezeit bis zum Abnehmen des Druckobjektes
