It's a solid piece of wood with handles that do not spin which is exactly what I was searching for. It's not too heavy or bulky which I love. Perfect for pastry, biscuits, noodles, tortillas, eggroll wrappers, and pretty much everything you can think of... In my opinion, it's perfect.

This thing was perfect it is smaller then the average rolling pin but fits my wifes hands alot better so no biggie

If you are one constantly making pastries or flattening dough, then this roller is for you. Yes there are many different rollers out there and many have different qualities for different needs. But if you are flattening dough at a certain texture, and need something that will not bend or break, this is the roller for you! HANDS DOWN!

This was a little different in size than what I wanted or than what is stated. The length of the roller part is nearly 9.5 inches and the overall length 15.5 inches. The diameter is maybe a tad larger than 1.5", maybe 40mm. I was looking for something to replace my chapati roller which is flaking off coating. I'm pleased that this wood, although somewhat rough and in need of a little sanding (which I did prior to use), is not coated and does not stick to the dough or leave particles. It is a little heavier, thinner and longer than my chapati roller, however it works fine. The added weight might be a problem if I were using it all day, but to make small batches the weight seems to help. There was a slight flat spot on the one I received, but it is minor and doesn't affect performance. I was able to roll out perfect rotis the first time. I'm glad to have a solid wood roller that is not coated. Yes I wish the diameter were a little larger, the handles a little longer and the body a little shorter, but it works as-is, and might even be more versatile in this in-between size. It is definitely not a large, standard-size rolling pin.

This small rolling pin works great for rolling out white flour tortillas. The rolling pin is one piece with no bearings in the handles so you can push as hard as you want . Worked perfectly.

I did not pay close enough attention to the dimensions. My fault, not the suppliers. I reccomend everyone check that prior to purchase. For me this is too small, but for a child it would be ideal.

This rolling pin is a waste of money if you want a large roller. The one is so small it is like a billy club. The pin is not to be used for larger projects as you will not get an even roll and roll an unfold onto a pie pan. Waste of money and a disappointment.

I use this for rolling out fondant when I bake my kids birthday cakes. I love it! It's not too big and bulky and it's not too small it's perfect.
