This S&B Oriental “HOT” Mustard is “HOT”!!!! I ordered it because I wanted that authentic Chinese hot mustard that I used to get in the Chinese Restaurants and the Take Out Restaurants that they keep hidden behind the counter and you have to know to specifically “Ask For It”! They charge an extra small fee, but it’s so much better than the free packets! Even though those free packets always satisfied me and my taste buds. If you want that sinus clearing mustard as the secret behind the behind the counter hand mixed in house this is it “And Then Some”!!!!! Dang! This stuff will shoot right up your sinus cavity and remind you of every bite! That being said, it might just be a little too hot for my tastes. Still now figuring out a way to tame it some to actually be enjoyable without being offensive. Maybe water it down, maybe using hot water to mix it (they say cold water actually activates the heat), using a little rice wine vinegar also said to tame it and add flavor. But keeping the authentic kind of pasty thickness, damn this stuff feels like it will burn through my sinuses and water my eyes where it’s not even enjoyable with meals. I Might try Coleman’s dry mustard next which gets good reviews as a very good Chinese Hot Mustard substitute?!! Hey if you love this kind of sinus piercing stuff, enjoy!! I can’t recall the one behind that Take Out Counter ever being this “DANG” HOT!! My Search Continues…🤪😊 Good luck Y’all! M
