First, do yourself a favor and look up the instructions for this controller online... they contain zero information about where to actually connect the controller to the wall unit. So if you're like me and give it a shot anyway- you'll find that taking the wall unit apart and opening the panel where the power feed ties in has a pigtail connector... and apparently this connects through a four-wire lead to the controller. Second step- you'll find that the pigtail doesn't fit, the extender/adapter doesn't fit, and the wires are out of sequence with each other (left to right on one end- red, brown, orange, black- and on the other, brown, black, red orange- so there's no way of flipping the connector upside down or re-arranging it so the wires actually correspond to each other. Poorly executed at best- and a frustrating way to lose a couple hours of your weekend.

Works much better than the XK41 did. This unit allows the WIFI app to work in conjunction with it. Although not on the main display, you can see the actual room temperature. You can easily set the freeze protection mode or away mode for the winter. easy installation
