I am a fan of Perricone's recommendations for maintaining healthy skin. I have purchased copies of this book for friends.

Great Book!
This book is an education on how to feel great! It explains how our body works when you eat certin foods. I have done the 3 day face lift, and if I hadn't done it myself I don't think I would have believed someone else telling me that I could have so much more energy. This book gave me strategies to lose weight quickly
I had a big event coming up and wanted to lose the last few pounds. This book gave me some strategies to help me feel full and not over eat.

I recommend this book to everyone in that it is simple ...
Have been studying inflammation cascade since 2005...tons of books have came about it..I recommend this book to everyone in that it is simple to read and straightforward. The diet and supplements..especially alpha lipoic and Co Q!0 have worked wonders for my health. It does reverse aging...The only thing missing...do add saturated fats as they help with making hormones and neurotransmitters and do get enough cholesterol. Also a lack of saturated fats will lead to "drawing up " of the face..helps to keep skin full....coconut oil and avacado oil tbsp of each a day can help and maybe a slice of real butter..preferbly grass fed butter. Great book!!!

This book is awesome
I have used this book for years, also bought it for several other people. as i would never loan mine. I have arthritis and it helps with the inflamation. I took myself off celebrex a year ago. My sister broke her arm so i stayed with her five weeks (I had already sent her the book) so I put her on the diet and she loved it.I measured her angles when we started, 10 1/2" it went down to 8 1/2" before I left. She lost 20lbs and her arm healed a week sooner than it should have. I tell everyone about this book.

This book is great in terms of what you should eat for your body and skin. However, I am not sure about taking so much supplement. It requires more scientific evidences. Overall, this book is informational, but again I would like to see more scientific evidences, not based on personal experiences (although they are important too).

Great Rationale for Good Skin
This is a re-order of a book I purchased about 10 years ago. The rationale behind great skin is essentially a good diet. I like the idea also that although Perricone has his own line of very expensive skin-ceuticals, he recommends products for every budget that contain the ingredients he thinks are necessary for good skin health. He also provides a limited number of recipes along with his recommended diet. I find he "prescribes" too much food, but the basic ideas are there to play with.

This is a go-to book for anyone seeking a life-style change to follow an anti-inflammatory diet plan and understand the science behind why certain foods are on the list and why others aren't. Stick to the list of foods to eat and you will make an amazing change in health and well-being. I gave this one as a gift. A must-read for anyone wanting to understand how foods affect your body. Practical and easy to understand. Mark the pages for the list of foods to eat and keep it handy for reminders until you have it memorized!

レビューの高さのみに惹かれて購入しましたが、正解でした。 姉が管理栄養士なので、食事の栄養バランスなど気を付けているつもりでした。 しかし・・・「炭水化物が老化を早める」という内容にショックを受けました。 本に書かれているように魚と野菜中心の生活を始めたところ、吹き出物は減り毛穴は小さくなりました。 以前より気分よく毎日を過ごせるようになり、前向きになったように思います。 気分もホルモンしだい・・・でもそれも食べ物でコントロールできるのだということが良くわかりました。

Interessante Denkanstöße
Für einen Einsteiger in diese Thematik ein wahrhaft interessantes Buch, das die Mechanismen der Zellalterung beleuchtet und zahlreiche Denkanstöße gibt, seine Nahrung und Ernährung zu überdenken. Für jemanden, der sich damit intensiv beschäftigt, sind die Erkenntnisse nicht ganz so neu. Leicht und verständlich geschrieben.

This sounds like an infomercial, but I just started doing the program and two people have already remarked on how good my skin looks!

Good Book
Great reading and very supportive if you are on a weight loss programme. It has masses of information and exerises , meals etc so well worth what I paid for it.
