Decently comfortable
As far as foam pads go, this one is up there. But at the same time, at the end of the day, there's a reason inflatable pads are so popular, so you've gotta be realistic with comfort expectations. This one is well made, durable, affordable, lightweight, and fairly warm. It's not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it's a heck of a lot better than most other foam pads. Neat little trick: I bought a full-size, then cut it down to torso length by removing 4 panels. Two of them got trimmed in half into a square I can use as a sitting pad that can be brought into the tent at night and laid under my legs to augment the torso-length section. The rest was trimmed into a dog bed for when the pup tags along. Three for the price of one =)

Perfect Addition
The only pictures I have are of my Aussie taking advantage of the switchback but both my son and myself have used it on multiple trips. From spring though fall it gets used on it's own, during the winter I pair it with a Sea to Summit inflatable and I have brought it out well into the teens and slept more than comfortable. Like it's noted, it is a lightweight closed cell foam pad just thick enough to have some cushion between you and the ground with a heat reflective side that is a perfect addition to a sleep system. Definitely worth it.

Love this mat!
Love this. Super lightweight. Keeps me a lot warmer. I use it under The river country original inflatable pad and the two together are as comfy as my bed at home. Finally slept through the night on a backpacking trip! The price was great! It’s super light weight. I strap it under the brain of my backpack and you can’t even notice it or the weight. It feels like nothing. Its nice to use as a seat to stop for lunch or to spread out all of your backpacking gear on while setting up your tent. As far as durability...I’m not really sure what is expected and I’ve only been using for a couple months, so 3 or 4 weekend trips. I did gouge a tiny chunk out of it when I got it caught on a barb wire fence. I also notice that where I have it strapped to the bag it is curving and showing worn/scuff spots where the straps hold it onto the pack. Not sure if I just have it strapped on too tight. It’s definitely not affecting the functionality of the mat or making it uncomfortable to lay on. I recommend! And I’m picky!!

Light but takes up space. Not as comfy as air pads. But still better than sleeping on the ground.
Not As comfy as an air pad, but more reliable and durable. It takes up a lot of space however. But it's light so strapped to the back of my pack it was fine. You can fold it in half of you need extra padding as well. Doubles as a seat too.

Very comfortable
I've always used flat pads in the past, but recently I tried this "waffle" design for the first time, using it for a couple of nights. It is MUCH more comfortable. Closed-cell foam can be pretty stiff; the flat pads don't conform well to my body. The waffle shape yields more to body weight; and it may also be somewhat warmer because of the little air pockets above and below the foam. Recommended!

The most comfortable fold up light weight pad that doesn't bottom out
I haven't used it for real camping yet because of the virus. We cancelled our trip. But I used it on my hard tile floor. And just the Nemo switchback by itself provided support. I first used the Teton universal pad. But I bottomed out on the hard flat floor. But this one alone never bottomed out. And I'm 260lbs. It's very light weight and folds up perfectly. The material seems pretty durable. The foam looks like it will take abuse. The only thing I don't think would take abuse is the seams at each fold. I ultimately will be using the Nemo switch back with the REI co-op self inflating pad. But tbh if you are are a lightweight daily camper then this is perfect enough with a good enough sleeping blanket. I promise the support from the cones will be enough. I honestly just couldn't tell you how long it would last.

Very happy with it
Not the most comfortable if you're using it on its own, but with another pad it does the job, adds a little R value and keeps stuff from puncturing my other pad. Accordion style pads are large but very light, personally was very happy with my purchase

It works for it's purpose, to give a layer between you and the ground.

The Nemo Switchback is significantly more comfortable than Thermarest or Exped. I can lie comfortably on my side (70 kg ,175 cm) on the Nemo, not so comfortable on the others. Nemo also folds much tighter than the others – precision engineering. Nemo and Thermarest are warmer than Exped because they have higher profile and they have silver metal on one side. I think they are all tough and will last well. They all work very well in a hammock. For me Nemo is the clear winner on the ground and in the hammock.

サー〇レストはよく見かけるけど、あえてこちらに決めました。かさばるのでショートサイズ。 断熱効果はありそうです。耐久性はまだわかりませんが、しっかりしているので、へたれずらいと思います。

Looking forward to using it in the UK, but I think that it will out last me, as I watch Xander on YouTube really putting this pad through a rough time, on rocks and wet and dry canoe trips in Canada.

This has helped me keep warm even while camping in the snap with just a sleeping bag and this mat in the tent. I would argue its more comfortabe than a thing airpad since its so thick!
