Barilla Protein+ Rotini Pasta

I've been trying to find a good protein pasta. Love these ones as the texture is really smooth and they have a nutty flavor. I have tried different shapes, they hold really well! They are very easy to digest as well. I highly recommend these!

This is a sturdy pasta at al dente. It can handle sauce, meats, or a heap of cheese. :D I like that I'm getting a bit of protein with the carbs. I wish this was available more widely at grocery stores. I can usually find this as spaghetti and penne noodles, but rarely rotini or elbows.

Liked this product for years. Good pasta flavor with resilient, hard to overcook texture. Protein and fiber are welcome bonuses, but good pasta regardless. Won't put you to sleep with an insulin rush. Hard to find in brick and mortar stores. Found here for 2/3 the price in the brick and mortar price WHEN I could find this product in such stores.

We bought these for our four children as they are rather picky eaters and we wanted to give them something that was fortified with more nutrition. When we made these for supper, they had no idea that they were eating a protein rich macaroni and gobbled it up! I was so pleased and have since purchased multi packs to keep on hand since we go through pasta like water around here. The price was very reasonable, though I wish they would just make it a 1lb box and charge more instead of making it 14.5 oz. Doesn't really serve anyone to cut the quantity. Would recommend this product for anyone with little kids or to anyone looking to increase their protein intake.

This is the only high-protein pasta we cook with and we have tried lots of them. It has good texture and holds up great in cold pasta salads or used hot with a variety of sauces. We have replaced most dry pasta we use with this brand. Highly recommended.

Will somebody please explain to me why my local grocery stores stopped carrying the Protein Plus line??? I'm vegetarian, so generally avoid pasta because it's not a good source for protein. When I discovered Protein Plus, it was a game changer. Delicious pasta, with a heavy dose of protein. Can't be beat!

The taste without sauce is somewhat different from traditional pasta. With sauce, the difference is hardly noticable. I enjoy the flavor and knowing that I am eating a healthier alternative to traditional pasta.

Barilla makes reliably good pasta, and it always tastes fresh. The extra protein is a boon. Thank you, Barilla!
