ab105 1-3/4" Hydraulic Tube Bender

So, I was skeptical to buy this bender but I figured that it should work fine for building a roll bar for my 76 K5 Blazer. When it arrived the first thing I noticed was some of the welds on the unit weren't done great, and some joints weren't welded completely which I plan to gusset and strengthen when I have time, no big deal. So, first time I go to use it to bend 1 3/4" DOM tube I noticed that I couldn't get the tube through the die retaining clamp. Turns out that the jack keep letting the die slip forward, this problem was easily corrected by using a clamp to hold the die in place. After my quick clamp fix I bent up some tube and the bender worked great, nice smooth bends. To get a proper bend just pick up a cheap degree wheel and make sure your bender is on level ground, an extended jack arm will also make bending easier. Overall very happy, actually like this bender better than my old floor mounted unit, easy to use and easy to store.

Although it says it's good to bend 1 3/4 .120 wall this happened on my first bend before getting my 90°. Really sucks I bought this a few years ago and never used it. Pulled it off the shelf to use while our big bender was down... and it failed immediately... and obviously out of any warranty now... unfortunately a waste of 500 bucks....

Well made product. Easy to use. I broke the u clamp on mine because I Didn't tighten it down. (They even put a sticker right next to the bolt telling you too...) Sent a text at 7am of what I broke and 20 minutes later I had a tracking number. I wish all companies had customer service like this. Will buy again from Affordable Bender!

Perfect for garage bending, everything has come out great! Only thing I modified was mounting a protractor to the arc to verify bend angle

The bender works ok.

Love the new bender. I used it right away. I have owned more expensive benders before and this one has it's quirks but definitely get what you pay for. Wish the bottle jack didn't need to be screwed up nearly all the way for full bend, it bends the jack easily. Other than that it's great for small projects.

This is a great DIY bender. Doesn't break the bank and does a great job.

Its very flimsy and its design increases the chances of kinks. The jack is held on by 1 bolt, don’t think it will hold that long. It shakes and has quite a bit of play. Spend a bit more and get a proper tube bender.
