Using it for a raspberry pi. Audio for such a cheap and small stereo setup is amazing. Good base and warm sound out the box. Highly recommended for traveling too if you are. It’s nice and small. Looks great and premium, Love the blue leds underneath each speaker. Connectivity is fine and functionality wise it does the job. Don’t expect miracles but sounds waaay better than the onboard speakers from the monitor and my surface pro too. It’ll run fine through your computers usb cable for power. No need for extra power adapters. USB 3 recommended as it can output more than enough voltage compared to usb 2.0 but even on that I can get perfectly loud enough and no sound distortion at high volumes. It comes with usb a so if you have usb c then you’ll need an adapter.

These are amazing little speakers. Purchased for my wife who has started making/taking video calls at home and the old speakers just weren't good enough. Another comment said "not the loudest" and for sure, they won't do a disco, but to test them I just played some music from YouTube and they actually have a pretty good bass and are perfectly loud enough for a smaller room to listen to some tunes whilst working etc.. Will be absolutely idea for my wife's home-office set up for video calls and some use for music etc. whilst we are doing housework. Very good price for what we have here. I am using a dedicated power supply for them that may not be producing enough power - if you turn the speakers too loud they start to distort and cut off - but as I say, the volume they will go to before they do that is more than enough - for our purposes at least. For the money, very very pleased with these.

For the price cannot go wrong, they are great speakers with good quality sound, they work well on my PS5 and monitor. Only thing is it would be better if the max volume was louder but its perfectly fine in a small room and loud enough where you don't need to have it on max anyways. They also look very good in a set up

There's nothing basic about these little speakers, they feel really solid due to their metal (yes, metal!) base and grilles. They sound great and pump out enough bass to vibrate my wooden table. They work out of the box plugged into a headphones / aux jack. Power comes from a USB port but if you don't have a spare one you could probably use a standard USB charger. Oh, and they glow blue!

Excellent for the price, not top quality obviously but far better than internal laptop speakers. Clear sound and more bass than you should be expecting at this price point. Also a pleasing design that sit neatly under a standard monitor although the permanently on blue LEDs are a tad annoying. But why oh why don't the instructions say which is the right speaker and which is the left. Spoiler alert, the right speaker is the one with the USB and 3.5mm phone jack coming out of it....you're welcome.

Amazon Basics Stereo 2.0 Speakers. I bought these for my son's PC, which he uses for gaming, watching videos and talking to his friends on Discord. First, the facts: - The speakers are a reasonably compact, so don't take up too much desk space. - They feel quite weighty for their size, giving an impression of reasonable quality. - The lead from the first speaker to the PC branches into 2 plugs - one USB-A which provides the power, and the other is a 3.5mm audio jack, for the sound. So you need sockets for both of these available on your PC. - The lead from the first speaker to your PC ( with the USB-A and 3.5mm audio plugs ) is approx. 1.4m long, so check that is OK for your setup. - The lead from the first speaker to the second speaker is approx. 1m long - this governs how far apart the speakers can be. - The volume control button is in the lead between the first speaker and the computer, close to the first speaker. - All the time they are powered on, the base of each speaker is illuminated with a blue LED glow. The glow is brighter at the back of the speaker than the front. Now my son's opinions: - He describes the sound quality as 'alright' (he is a teenager, I can't get more than that out of him). It sounds pretty good to me considering the size and price of the speakers. Good enough for his gaming, chatting and watching videos. You can spend 4 times as much and get better sound quality if you are going to be listening critically to music. - He would prefer the volume control to be on one of the speakers. - He doesn't mind the 'always on' blue glow at the base of each speaker, but it might annoy some people. - (My opinion, rather than my son's) I like that the power comes from a USB-A socket on the PC rather than a separate power supply with a mains plug. His previous speakers had a separate power supply and it was just one more awkward supply and plug and bunch of wires to hide somewhere within / behind the desk. - (My opinion, rather than my son's) since the speakers take up a USB-A socket on the PC for power, they could have also received the audio signal through the same USB-A connection, and made a simpler system. But, I guess that is probably a different product. Conclusion: My opinion is that if you want some budget friendly speakers these do the job very well. If you are an audiophile and have money to spend, then better are available.

For budget PC speakers and their small size they sound really good. Nicely weighted with a solid feel and they look pretty good too. The low level blue glow at the base looks cool. They fit nicely under the monitor, taking up very little room. Definitely money well spent.

Speakers staan mooi op het bureau. Ze waren zwaarder dan ik verwacht had. Goed om te weten dat ze blauw licht hebben. Ik heb nog geen manier gevonden om het licht uit te zetten. Zou ze zo weer kopen.

Its a perfect product for the laptop since it does not occupy much space. Very sturdy, stylish and unique set of speakers. It provides clear stereo output from the tiny speakers. Don't expect it to work like a home theatre system, as it is meant to be portable, provide boost to the existing laptop speakers. Its price is very attractive and would definitely last long, no doubt about that. Please go ahead and buy if portability, clear sound signature and economy is your priority.

Le son est clair, puissant et très agréable pour une utilisation PC au quotidien. En plus de ça, le design est très beau et la finition est vraiment soignée. Franchement, difficile de faire mieux à ce prix-là. Je recommande à 100 % !

I need speakers for my BenQ monitor on my MacMini and tried these. They are surprisingly good for the size and cost.
