Review: She’s a Looker! - I am writing this review right after I cooked eggs. I am a novice to cast iron, and this is my first enamel cast iron purchase. Maybe it was silly to buy such an expensive pan for my first cast iron use, but I know this brand has an amazing reputation. Before I purchased this pan, I read the reviews on here, read articles, and watched YouTube videos on how to use. I’m glad I did, because as you can see from the pics and video I posted, nothing stuck to the pan. Thank you reviewers! Preheat on low heat (6 on stove) with oil or butter for about 3 mins. Since the pan retains heat well, continue cooking on low. If I (a novice) was able to cook something in this pan the first time without any sticking, so can you! The pan is surprisingly heavy, so please be careful when lifting because you can easily hurt your wrists. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and I can’t wait to cook other dishes in this stunning pan! Update 11/2/23 - I am still enjoying the pan and I cook mostly eggs and beans in it. I’ve noticed that food taste better with this pan vs. my Teflon pans. Eggs for example, is a lot more flavorful. I do not use a lot of butter and food sticks slightly, but I’ve figured out how to clean the pan properly: add hot water to the pan after cooking, soak for a few minutes, then gently scrape off the stuck bits with a wooden spoon. You can also use a scrub brush. Wipe dry after. Simple care! This is my first Le Creuset cookware piece and I am thinking of buying the signature cerise saucepan as my second piece.
Review: Amazing! - Is a great pan, the first time I used I didn’t hear enough so eggs stick a little, the second time very smooth. Somehow the food tastes so much better. I was at first concern with the size because is on smaller end but end up liking it, it small but perfect to cook things individually vs smashing all together what I was doing with large pans. Cleaning is very easy, I use a regular sponge and salt for now. The cons: somehow it doesn’t look perfect, the layers are uneven, small imperfections! Pros it looks gorgeous on the stove and fun things to use/own

My wife loves this pan. Better than non stick! Better than plain iron skillets. Very durable! I intend to get her the whole range of pans.
