American Educational Flame Test and Spectroscopy Kit

I ordered this mostly for the chemicals and documentation. Put the liquids in spray bottles and it worked much better. Did feel like wasting time to make my own wire loops. Spectroscopes are inexpensive, as you might expect. There are much better ones out there, that are easier to use. This kit is just ok.

I am a chemistry teacher that needed to do a demo in another country. This kit had all the materials to teach about flame spectroscopy and, with the purchase of a few burners and some goggles I was able to have them run a lab. Sure, you might have all the materials in your stock room to put this together, but if you don't have access to those, or you want it all in one sturdy boxed kit, this is just the thing.
