wolfcraft Quick-Change Trapezium Blade Knife with Retractable Blade I 4131000 I Trapezium Blade Knife for demanding Applications

Very good knife. Easy to retract with a sliding button when not in use and comes with a storage compartment for separate blades which, unlike the Stanley knife, is easy to open. It feels robust and has a nice grip feel to it. I had a Stanley before but couldn't for the life of me work out how to open the spare blade compartment and ended up throwing it at the wall in frustration...It opened alright then...Into about 10 different parts!...And good riddance. Note to Stanley : Don't try and be clever by over engineering something as simple as a knife....Keep it simple like Wolfcraft do. Us tradesman aren't interested in gimmicks, we just want something practical, simple, safe and effective when it comes to box cutters.

The first thing you will notice will be the comfortable grip in your hand. It is just the right size, weight and feel. The blade is incredibly sharp and is adjustable, by the silver notch on the top which your thumb controls. When the notch is pulled back fully, the blade disappears safely inside the casing to render the item harmless. Conversely, pushing the notch determines how much blade you require. It comes complete with five replacement blades which is really pleasing. I cannot fault it in terms of its specific function. A great knife and money well spent, from my perspective.

Happy with the quality. It doesn't feel cheap, nice weight that makes it easier to control, lock button also functions well. The only and only issue is when you want to push back the blade there is very high chance that you leave it at one next stop to the end. That makes a tiny little piece of blade stays out of frame. That can be a safety issue (photo is attached). apart of that all good.

We mainly use this for cutting up cardboard boxes of all thickness. We have a LOT of cardboard mostly from online orders :)... Feels really sturdy and really good weight. When we first got it, it was extremely sharp and very easy to cut through extra thick corrugated cardboard. 6 months later it's still very strong and sharp but I'd say I definitely feel needing to use a bit more force compared to when it was brand new. Would still recommend however as it does feel great to use. Probably will last another 6-8 months before replacing (I'd rebuy the same knife) as I really like the blade sharp for minimal effort.

Really good sturdy working blade. Fabulous grip designed for ease of use. Spare Standard "Stanley" type blades in the main body. Though quite fiddly to get to them. The release catch requires quite a bit of pressure which can only be applied by holding the body tight. This then works against the release catch process which opens the bottom of the handle. However, it's a minor issue. All in all a good version and replacement for the usual Stanley.

Bought this knife and at the start it was brilliant, 2 months on of not continuous or hard work I'm struggling to get the blade out for use. Seems a little bit cheaper made than I thought. It was a cheap knife but just expected more. Could be me wanting too much but just not 100% happy with it.

I am really happy with this knife-good quality and price. Retractable blade which can be set to expose a small or large amount of the blade in defined increments. Also has a string twine/cutter which is inset and always accessible even with the blade retracted. Rubber hand and thumb grips plus heavy weight in the hand. Spare blade storage (4 standard blades included inside handle and 1 fitted). Would purchase again.

Even after reading the bad reviews I brought this item thinking maybe other people just received a bad 1 . But unfortunately not the case Great knife, sits nicely in the hand, wanted this one for the extre box cutter blade (for a work knife. It would of been Great feature) But this is where the issue lies. When trying to push the main blade out, it likes like the switch/button function is catching on the box cutter design and it's stopping the blade from extracting. Such a shame.

The blade length is small, and when I received it, it was already open. It seems they sent me a used or returned item from someone else.

Solo maneggiandolo si capisce la qualitá dei materiali: giusto peso ed ergonomia la fanno da padrone. Credo che a questo prezzo sia difficile trovare di meglio. Consigliatissimo.
