Discovering that a replacement charger costs £79 came as something of a shock (even for Apple), given that you can buy a laptop for less than twice that price. Nuoo came to the rescue.The charger is clearly well made and apart from missing the Apple logo brand looks identical to the original. The 3-pin plug is of the removable, duck-head design, meaning that I can swap it for a 2-pin plug when travelling to other European countries. Everything comes neatly packaged in the cardboard box and as well as a velcro cable-tidy, there is also a silicone(?)/rubber cover that slips over the largest part of the adapter.At less than £20, the Nuoo charger is reasonably priced and it works just as well as the 'genuine' model.
