This is a post pregnancy must have! Began using right after having a c-section. In the beginning, I had to use all my strength to get the velcrow to touch but within a week I lost three inches. This helps tremendously to compress the stomach and jump start your body to feeling somewhat normal again. Ended up using around the clock for about three weeks until moving to another product by the same maker as the Belly Bandit became to large (it didn't stretch out by any means; my body just completely changed).

I debated whether or not I really needed a support for postpartum, but ended up choosing this one based on recommendations from other new moms, and overall am glad I did. It helped provide support and remind me to maintain good posture during the initial weeks of nursing my newborn, when I had a tendency to hunch over too much. The support greatly reduced the lower back pain I was having, and it did help reduce the bloated/swelling abdominal feeling common right after childbirth. I was not a fan of the velcro fastener, as it was very loud and made it nearly impossible to adjust in the middle of the night without waking baby or my husband. Additionally, it became increasingly uncomfortable when the creases start to settle... everything I read said crease are normal (they settle between ribs and hip bones from how the band folds when you wear it sitting down. Also, it is too bulky to wear under clothing and rather unattractive above clothing, so I left it in the car when I had to go in public. However, the pain relief and help with the recovery process still made this a worthwhile purchase. I followed the sizing chart and it fit as expected, with me initially wearing on the loose side and gradually being able to tighten further on the velcro. I don't remember exactly how long it took for me to wear it on the smallest size... but I think close to 5 weeks postpartum.Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase and think it was worth the price. Though I've heard others say you can use it for multiple children, for me, I don't think I agree due to the creasing. I would purchase a new one after giving birth again.

I got this bandit later than they recommended... about 4 weeks post pregnancy. I wish I would have had it sooner when I was dropping 10 & 15 lbs a week, But it still works. It holds everything up and together so my shirts look better on me, and I'm not so conscious of my tummy. As I lose more weight I can see my belly shrink and not sag. I'll probably wear it for much much longer since I wasn't able to get it as quickly as I would have liked. On the down side, it wrinkles from continuous wear, and those are hard to get out, even after washing. Also, results are not dramatic, they are minimal, so don't think this is the "fix" you need to eat right and exercise too!

This belly wrap worked great for the first week. I put it on 2 days after my son was born and it's on basically 23 hours a day. It gave great support and I did noticed my belly shrinking within the first week. However, after just one week, I noticed the belly wrap started to get rolls on the side around my waist area and it would not stay put. I have to constantly rearrange it. I'm not especially curvy, but i do have some curves. I thought maybe after i wash it, the shape would go back to normal, but i was wrong. Also, the sizing of the Belly Bandit is a little off. When i measured myself at 38 weeks pregnant, according to their sizing chart, I was a large. But I had a feeling it would be too big and ordered a Medium instead. Just about a week after using it, the Medium i ordered became too big. The Velcro area is too small and it forces you to purchase another size once you start to go back to your normal size. But I will not be purchasing another one from Belly Bandit.

This belly bandit is not the same quality as years prior. I purchased a belly bandit 12 years ago for my first pregnancy, I loved it and used it for my second pregnancy as well. Due to these expectations I purchased a bandit for my recent pregnancy and was highly disappointed after the first week of wear. The bandit immediately creased and caused discomfort. Additionally it would bunch up above my stomach and felt more like a belt that a support for my stomach. I’m disappointed as the bandit is not cheap. There are a lot of new models and brands of these stomach support wraps, I wish I had purchased another brand.

I registered for this item on my baby registry. I was 10 months pregnant when I received this as a gift. I obviously could not wear it till after I delivered. Once I was home from the hospital I took the size medium out of the box, wore it around for a bit just to find out it was way too big and kept sliding down my stomach. I promptly put the belt back in the box for return bc it would not function correctly if the belt was not snug and tight. After contacting the company and sending the medium back for an XS. I was then notified by the 3rd party vendor (Breakout bras) this belt I sent back was defective and they would not refund nor exchange my size. I was furious! This belt was $45 !!! No return? How would a pregnant person know the exact size they needed AFTER they deliver.? Amazon refunded my money thank goodness but NO WHERE ON Amazon did this company's return policy come up or else I would have never registered for it. I would have waited till after I had my baby to buy this. I was very disappointed in the flexibility of the company selling this belt. I now am 3 weeks out from delivery and my stomach has gone back on its own so there is no need for this belt anyhow. But with this product time is go the essence and since they would not return my incorrect size belt, I did not need this product. Buyer beware of this policy. I was very skeptical about purchasing this but since I needed results fast since I was a bridesmaid in a wedding 2 months post partum, I thought I would try it! After only ONE week of wearing this, I was able to fit into a few pairs of pre pregnancy jeans and back in my pre pregnancy shirts! I am not joking either! This product did the job it claims to do!!! It also provided excelent back and tummy support needed after delivering a baby, I felt great! It is also helping with my stretched out skin and stretch marks. I cannot say enough good about this product! My only gripe is that it buckles and creases after wearing it 24/7 and after washing, it doesnt uncrease...oh well. It still did its job and I have confidence only one week post partum!!! GET IT!

I used this with my first pregnancy and it really works. It can bunch up at times and be uncomfortable after wearing for awhile but the results are worth it! Because there isn't much Velcro you will end up having to buy a smaller size which can get costly. I think I may buy Velcro to sew on myself to try and make this one last!
