desertcart.com: The Unofficial Guide to Game of Thrones: 9781982116408: Renfro, Kim: Books Review: THE book for GOT die-hards - I’m a GOT megafan. I’ve watched the series multiple times, have read the main books, have read the history book (World of Ice and Fire), own the geography book. Every time an episode aired, I would read the write-ups of my favorite analysts and listen to the podcasts. I love how all of the details that went into this amazing series turned it into the complex and layered story it became (unrivaled, IMO). This book is for me. It is full to the brim of amazing details, production and casting stories, interviews with creators such as Ramin Djiwadi... I mean. I couldn’t put it down, and most of it was stuff I either did not know or had forgotten. I cannot begin to imagine the amount of research that went into it. So thank you, Kim Renfro, for writing the perfect book for us, the die-hards. It is now thoroughly underlined and has pride of place on my GOT bookshelf. Review: Love GOT Love This Book - A wonderful read for those of us curious about all things GOT. I Highly recommend reading this book after finishing the series, it’s fun to revisit key scenes and have a better understanding of what goes into the making of the complex show. From the music, to costuming, to behind-the-scenes it is a fact-filled romp through Westeros. Renfro’s research and writing are excellent. I hope she takes on more shows or contemporary topics and gives us a another backstage peek.

A perfect guide to the TV series
An essential book for anyone who's watched the "Game of Thrones" TV series, Kim Renfro's guide is full of sparklingly smart analysis and deep insight into the making of the show. The sections on how Ramin Djawadi composed the music for the show — creating motifs for each character, hinting at their fates — were particularly revelatory, and aided by Renfro's smart and fluent interviews with the composer. Worth it for those chapters alone.

Interesting Read
This has a lot of interesting facts/ stories on the making of GOT, the characters and the actors. It does include information to the very end of the series including how many viewers watched that final episode. There was a chapter that talked about each episode of the show but didn't really go into much information on the individual episode itself. It might give just a story of how maybe Alfie Allen had trouble with his armor so they did this to it while filming g a scene or that Maisie Williams was infatuated with Ed Sheeran so the producers had him appear in a scene.

Great GoT bokk
Being a GoT fan of both the show and the books I really enjoyed finding new facts about the show. The part about the music was worth it. One thing is the artwork was sadly lacking and did not add to the book at all. Other than that fact the book is an easy and fun read.

If you already miss GOT...
This book is a good physical memory of the “event” that is Game of Thrones. It basically compiles a lot of the stuff you would have read on the internet before the shows. Not really much new or inside info. Could be a good reference watching the shows later when all the chatter has died down. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a digital ARC to review.

Did you want to know why happened what happened? Did ypu want to know how is it possible that it happened what happened (in season 8)? This is the place. You will not be nearer. And, moreover, you will learn most of what happened throughout seasons 1 to 8.
