Which mfg do you suppose is out of spec?** A: I have those connectors and a net gear router with no issues. Im am guessing its the way you are installing the connector. If you crimp then trim excess it will not go in. **Q: Will these work on flat cables?** A: It depends on the cable. If you can separate the individual wires to do the proper termination then it should work as long as the cable is between 22-26awg **Q: What is the size (wxlxh) of this connector? does the opening fit cat6 cable stp (shielded twisted pair) solid-wire with od of 9mm-10mm?** A: This connector will take any standard CAT 6 cable. All cat 6 cables produced fall within a certain universal specification, or they could not be called CAT 6. The connector is physically 1cm wide 2cm long and .6 cm high the opening is about 8 cm wide. Again, standard Cat6 Cable. I use belden brand 23 awg cable with them **Q: I have crimped a wire three times and still no data. What am I doing wrong? I double checked the order and it's correct.** A: Are you wiring it for 568A or 568B and are they the same at each end of the line?...Do you own a tester to see if you have any crossovers? Its hard to say what you are doing wrong without seeing your work. ## Frequently Bought Together - VCE RJ45 Connector Gold-plated 50 Pack, Pass Through Cat6 Connectors Network Plugs Ethernet Plug for Cat6/Cat5/Cat5e UTP Solid & Stranded Network Cable - VCE GJ670BL RJ45 Crimp Tool, Pass Through Ethernet Crimping Tool for Cat5 Cat6 Cat7 End Pass-Thru Connector, Support Stripping & Cutting - VCELINK GJ468 Network Cable Tester, RJ45 Ethernet Cable Tester PoE for Cat5/Cat6/Cat7 LAN Cable & RJ11 Phone Cable --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/104497312-vce-rj45-connector-gold-plated-50-pack-pass-through-cat6](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/104497312-vce-rj45-connector-gold-plated-50-pack-pass-through-cat6) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
