If you trashed your Nav Screen buy this - it just works. Can I give this product 6 stars ? Like other Mazda owners, my Nav screen was ruined when i used an off brand window cleaner on it. I bought the screen protector and it's better then factory. Good price, easy to install, looks great. I would imagine any other screen protector for any vehicle would do te same.

Fit my 2018 CX5 perfectly after the anti glare started flaking off

I have a 2020 Mazda CX-5 and was hesitant because this specific year had an exception within the description. Also, I questioned the trapezoid shape, but I was focusing on the screen and not the dash around it. Since my anti-glare was already removed (the reason I bought this) I still used the alcohol wipe but the dust sticker was my most important tool. Once I got the lint off, I used the suction cup provided and the protector went on perfectly. I had no expectations for this attempted solution, but it works! You can still see some spots through the protector but it has definitely made my screen more vivid. The photo I've added is to show that you can't even tell the protector has been applied. Easy!

I recently used an alcohol wipe on my screen and my infotainment screen became very patchy/blotchy and worn out looking. According to some Mazda forums, that was because I was removing the anti-glare coating. Those forums recommended to remove the rest of the coating and put a screen protector on it. My infotainment now looks brand new. If you infotainment screen looks great on its own and you want to protect your screen, i would not recommend using the alcohol wipe. I would just wipe with a microfiber towel before installing. I would say it was a bit tricky trying to apply it without any air bubbles. I got a few and had to slowly and carefully pry it off the screen to get rid of it. I was so scared of breaking it when i was trying to get the air bubbles out. My application wasn’t perfect, but it looks way better than it was without it. The touch screen works fine. I have not experienced the anti-glare, but I can’t imagine it enhancing glare.

This product was exactly as advertised. It does have a glossier finish than the original OEM infotainment screen with the anti-glare coating. It doesn't cause an issue obviously at night or in the shadows. The only time you notice it may be if you're driving towards the sun and the light is reflecting off of the seat upholstery. And even then, it's most noticeable if you have the cream colored Mazda leather (I do - see picture) rather than black. TIP #1a IF YOUR ANTI-GLARE IS WRECKED. I think most buyers will buy this because they inadvertently used some alcohol-based wipe or cleaner which wrecks the anti-glare on the screen. This was my case. And if it is yours, the only recourse is to remove the rest of the anti-glare and apply this screen. I used the same alcohol wipe that ruined it in the first place to remove the rest of the original anti-glare. TIP #1b IF YOUR ANTI-GLARE IS INTACT. If you're anti-glare is pristine, don't use the included alcohol wipe. Alcohol is what ruins the screen in the first place. Just use a clean, dry microfiber cloth to get the dust off. TIP #2 Some people have reported not being able to get rid of the bubbles after application and subsequently trashed it. Interestingly when I applied the screen, I wasn't able to to get the one last bubble out no matter how hard I smoothed it. But the next day, I was able to easily smooth out the bubble, so it looks perfect now. Not sure whether it needs time to set, or if some temperature variation affected the application. In any case, give it a day before giving up on it.

Worked very well! It covered all of my patches i had from using index. I wiped the screen with water first and dried it then applied the protector. It looks like a brand new screen now!

The prep wipe RUINED my touch screen and removed the anti glare finish. This item Should NOT be sold and marketed for a 2018 Mazda cx5 as the anti glare finish is stock and their product is not compatible. Others have told them it removes the finish and they deny it... do NOT buy.

Perfect! I love that they included a dust sticker, that makes it possible to have no dust bubbles. Installed on my 2018 Mazda CX-5. I made it 7 years without getting any cleaning products on the anti-glare coating, eventually one day I accidentally got some over spray on the infotainment screen so they glare coating started crackling and coming off. Removed the rest of it with Windex and installed the new screen protector, now it looks great again.

As most CX-5 owners have discovered, this otherwise great looking vehicle has a problem with the factory anti-glare coating on the infotainment system coming off, leaving the screen looking blotchy. It gives the look as if it's that plastic protective film that you would remove from a new monitor or tv with bubbles underneath, but is not. Its the actual coating rubbing off. This screen protector does a great job of eliminating that look. You can install it right over the blotchy screen and bring it back to a crisp, clear appearance. It may be too good, as there is a fair bit of reflection and the anti-glare qualities seem to be lost entirely on a bright day but given a choice between a defective looking factory screen and the shiny new screen appearance that this protector gives, I'm very happy with the results of the screen protector. Sticks very well and the fit is great, with maybe about a 1/16th of an inch clearance all the way around the edge vs the factory screen size. No more having the dash neat and tidy with the blotchy screen ruining the whole look.

tengo una cx5 2019, la pantalla como se ve en la imagen tenía un paño la quemó algún producto que le pusieron donde la llevo a lavar, con la película disminuyó la apariencia del paño en un 90% así como el reflejo que esté producía; por lo que se ve más nítida la pantalla. El touch funciona correctamente y siento que renove la pantalla de mi coche superó mis espectativas.

Asi lucia mi pantalla de navegación antes y así se ve ahora. - La compre ya que en los comentarios mencionaban que le quedaba a la cx-5 2021 pero no cubre toda la pantalla. Sin embargo, cubre el área del touch así que la voy a dejar. La instalación fue rápida , no se le hizo ninguna burbuja.

It does the job. Protect the screen and also keeps it operative. Also fits perfect on my Mazda CX-5 2018
