They were late. When the package was opened, it was discovered that they were leaking battery acid (a safety issue). I called Amazon and complained and they immediately issued new batteries. When the next package of batteries was received, it was discovered that those batteries were also leaking. Very unhappy. We had to find another alternative to get the required batteries for our dictophone. ### ⭐ All began leaking after a year *by M***U on Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2009* These batteries were great for the first year, but started leaking there after. I got about 30 uses before they started leaking, ruining both the charger and my receiver remote. Go with something else, rechargeable alkaline seem like a great concept, these are just poor quality. Not much out there on amazon on rechargeable alkaline, go with NIMH from Sanyo or Rayovac. These alkaline didn't hold charge any longer than either of these, and both have gotten more uses (50+) with no issues. ### ⭐ Batteries were all leaking when we recieved them. *by C***P on Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2011* I bought 6 packages of 4 (24 batteries). All of them were leaking when we opened up the box.
