MICR Check Position Gauge

The design with the flexible transparent sheet glued (at the bottom) to a sturdy card works remarkably well: with rulers it is hard to keep the check in one place, here the check is held tight. The included instructions are great, who knew you could have 14 different features on one ruler ? I was a bit surprised that the all measurements were in "decimal" notation (e.g. 3.75") mainly because some third party documentation I have for MICR uses fractional notation (3 3/4) but it makes sense since the ANSI documentation uses decimal notation. This helped us a lot with our IRD Check printing product.

This MICR gauge is great! I've used it in the past, and it really speeds up the check layout process and reduces the number of testing cycles with the bank. I'm looking forward to using it again with my current client who is implementing a new accounting system. Definitely worth the price! It also arrived within a couple of days or ordering it.

A little pricy but good quality

This has saved me a boatload of time when I work on updates to a customer's check layout.

I needed a MICR gauge for my work and this has the proper alignment for US and Canada checks. It has the foam board on the back so it does not bend/crack/break the gauge itself. It has guidelines so you are able to determine if your check is in proper alignment. It is a very nice gauge and pricing is very reasonable.

This really helped speed up the process of getting our checks approved by our bank. It cut down on the number of cycles of sending check copies (FedEx) to the bank because we could validate the positions of the print on the check stock before we sent it to Wells Fargo for validation. It was great to be able to just slide the check under the film and know we had it right. Great tool!

Not accurate. But giving a slight idea to get closer to the expected results

This is a must have if you're setting up MICR printing. I tried to avoid buying one, but had to bite the bullet and purchase it. I do not regret it.
