KLORANE CENTAUREA SHAMPOO 400 ML

When I stopped dying my hair a couple of years ago I tried several different shampoos including the blue toners which I found a bit messy. However this shampoo seems to suit my grey and silver hair making it feel fresh, soft and shiny with no yellow tones. I have received many compliments in relation to my grey and silver hair.

The original shampoo that is milky coloured is fab for white and grey hair. I get annoyed when they send the new purple version as it is not as good and gives hair a purple tinge. Also it's not shown as purple on the advert, if it was I would not order.

I have grey hair and have found this product to give a lovely shiny finish to my hair, nice smell too. Would recommend

I ordered what I thought was the original white formula with a beautiful floral scent, but what arrived was purple. As it is sealed there was no way of checking to see if it had the same scent. Well, it doesn't and I am really annoyed! It was nearly £20 and whilst it may be good for silver hair (my colour) it smells of nothing, and I can't return it. Really cross...

A lovely shampoo. Leaves hair feeling soft, shiny and manageable. Excellent For white and grey hair.

The shampoo in the bottle was purple and not the slivery white in the picture and it did not smell like the silvery shampoo which was a nice scent, this one smelt nowhere near as nice. Because of the purple colour, that my hair is white I was frighten to use the shampoo in case it coloured my hair. Sad as I have along with many others been using this shampoo for a long time, when I went back to find out how long I been using it (2013), all the bottles were purple, by the look of it they have changed the shampoo. I would have not bought it had I known it was purple, I am sending it back.

I, too, ordered this as the 200ml I used to order has been out of stock for a long time. I paid £22 + but was pleased I would get to use this lovely shampoo again. Unfortunately, apart from the name, it seems an entirely different product. It’s now lurid purple like so many other silver hair shampoos and is much more garish looking in the bathroom. It also now smells like a cheap fabric conditioner - a very artificial smell compared to the light floral/herbal one of old. Lastly, it seems much harsher and seems to strip the hair and make it very squeaky, needing a lot of conditioner afterwards to make my hair feels soft again. If you have ever used the older product I think you’ll be very disappointed with this one and I would strongly recommend buying a much cheaper purple shampoo instead if that’s what you are after. An expensive mistake!

Excellent shampoo, probably the one that works best on graying *dark* hair, as most products in the anti-brassiness category seem to be aimed at blonde graying people. It leaves the hair looking neutral, which is what I was aiming for. It's not magic but it works, which is more than I can say about other similar products, that basically have zero effect on dark hair. That said, I also had good results with Matrix (blue bottle), which was possibly smoother on the hair, but for me this one and a nice nourishing hair mask work very well.

Lo uso hace mucho tiempo, y es un gran producto, lo malo es que el precio es excesivo. Cuando lo vendían en México, el precio era una cuarta parte de lo que lo venden ahora. Me parece excesivo.

Definitely a fan of this shampoo. It really keeps my colored blonde highlights from getting brassy, and makes my natural grayish-white sparkle. It's definitely not a moisturizing shampoo. It dries out my hair a bit and makes it feel "squeaky" clean and tangled, so I use a little conditioner after. Still, to me it's far less drying and tangly than the typical "purple" shampoos I've used. Not quite as effective as a heavy purple shampoo when it comes to making my hair "white" but I still love this. Plus I'm not turning my tile and under my fingernails purple. The scent is fresh and pretty. Can't say I've ever smelled this scent before but it flowery and pleasant. A little goes a long way. If you have sensitive allergic scalp make sure you give your scalp an extra rinse at the end or it may itch or burn slightly.
