After one use, this stuff made my drip coffee maker cleaner than it has been in a long, long time! It is a good quality cleaner and performs as described.

I'm a baby boomer, old school and enjoy brewing my coffee in an electric percolator. I used to use Dip it powder for percolators but it is almost impossible to find and is astronomically priced. Since Urnex advertises use for drip coffee makers and machine espresso makers I was skeptical but decided to try it in my perc since it said for all coffee makers. I was pleasantly surprised! It really cleans out all the gunk with minimal wiping. For a percolator I suggest pouring an Urnex packet into the coffee basket and place in a filled coffee pot; run the full cycle of the percolator, unplug at end of cycle and let solution stand for 15 minutes, then discard. Wash pot as usual to remove stains; they come right off!

We have very hard water and this is easy to use and gets the job done.

This stuff is amazing. Our coffeemaker was starting to not perform like it should. Coffee was taking longer to brew and always reside was left inside our coffee mugs. We have always periodically cleaned with vinegar on the clean cycle. But, after doing it a few times in a row, the problem wasn't getting better. We started looking at new machines. I decided to try this product as a last resort and I am so glad I did. The difference is outstanding. These pics show what the solution looks like after I used the product 1 time. The water is blue before going through the clean cycle and was so dirty when it finished the cleaning process. I was shocked. I then did another clean cycle with another packet and the water came out the same blue color it started with. The machine works better now and coffee tastes better with no residue being left in the cup. Saved me from buying a new machine. Highly recommend

Saw this product recommended by Tecnivorm/Moccamaster to clean out their coffee makers and saw the glowing reviews here, so decided to purchase. I've clearly been a negligent owner of this machine because despite regularly descaling it with powder over the years and then running cycles with pure vinegar to (I thought) give it a decent cleaning, this filled my coffee pot with brown water *just after* descaling it. Gone are years of brown residue both in the drip-over arm as well as the brew basket after just a single use, and as an added bonus, I poured that pot of brown solution into my stainless travel coffee mug that had also been stained brown over the years... after letting it sit for five minutes and then just giving it a light scrub with a dishcloth, BAM, essentially as good as new, as shown in the pic. So yeah, I'm a believer in this product!

Does an excellent job of descaling my Tassimo coffee machine, as we have hard well water. It has helped keep my machine in good working order for 11 years!!
