The belt itself seems to be a good quality. The buckle itself really amazes me as it looks great and feels like a very solid build. Expect it to be larger and deeper than a normal buckle as it has to do the ratcheting. I found long ago a belt will hurt my back as well as cause stomach problems so having a belt that is a quick release to lengthen when I sit, then really easy to tighten when I stand is simply awesome! I did find I needed to cut an inch off the belt, and that too was simple.
