**Q: Would this be ok to use on damages or worn threads?**
A: Hi,

Yes it can but you should bear in mind that the overall strength of the fixing might be compromised when compared with a new thread as it is worn or damaged.  The stud lock cannot be relied on completely.

**Q: How do you open the top? It doesn't appear to screw off or pull off.**
A: Yes pull off the white cap (not easy) then unscrew the UPPER knurled section a few turns which allows the liquid to pass the internal plug in small drops. Hope that helps, best of luck.

A: I think it is waterproof I use it on my mobility scooter.
