Hats off to Douglas Outdoors.  I have not yet field tested my new DXF 11 ' 3wt fly rod but at 1st review , it feels great, excellent quality and rod guides , reel seat and cork handle look great!!  Bought this based on a Trident Fly fishing rod shootout where the DXF was in top 6 rods.

I have not fished it yet, but backyard casting feels very good.  Medium fast action, it appears to have good power, yet close in finesse.  Workmanship is good also.  We will see how it performs on the water soon...
