You still can use this brush with nail polish but it dries very fast which makes it harder to create intricate designs. If you use the brush with acrylic paint, then clean it with water. If you use nail polish, then clean brush in nail polish remover or gentle acetone. You can use a little bit of any oil on hair bristles after cleaning brush and shaping hair to bring them to their original position. This works REALLY well for cleaning up edges while painting nails! I’m just getting into doing my own nails and I’m not the best at it yet. Works really well

Great brush
I love this cuticle clean up brush! It's not too large or too small around, so it's comfortable to hold. It's about as big around as your average ink pen, and just a touch longer than one. I was nervous that the mermaid scale design on the handle might be uncomfortable when in use, but it actually feels fine.

Is gummy after use
Was hoping this would be great for removing mistakes to polish. It gets gummy and holds the color you just tried to remove. Not very useful

Beautiful brush!
This brush is just so cute! It worked wonderfully to clean up polish on my cuticles, just dip it in acetone and wipe the brush on a paper towel after you're done!

Ideal as a wipe off brush.
Bought on behalf of my wife who is a nail tech. She says this is ideal as a wipe off brush when doing gel nails or gel overlays. She has used it twice now and says it is well worth the money.
