I use it with a fixative for drawings. When the container is empty, I just add another container of fixative and use the same sprayer. I'd recommend reusing with same type of product ( One for paint, one for fixative spray, etc). **Q: Are the jars glass or plastic?** A: The jars are 6-ounce glass jars. We also have 3-ounce plastic jars available. **Q: Will these work for pepper spray?** A: It will spray anything with waterlike consistency. Anything more viscous won't work. **Q: Has anyone painted a car bumper with it?** A: It will not paint an entire bumper, but it will work on scrapes and other relatively small areas. You need to PRACTICE first, since making it spray properly is a little tricky. I would send away for a spray can of a paint matching your car. I diluted it according to instructions (3:2 paint:water) and it would not spray at all. Just air coming out. Eventually I diluted it enough to get semi-reliable operation (works about 75% of the time) but I had to dilute paint with equal parts water. At that point, the paint was so thin that it ran and pooled. For brief periods, I was able to get it to work reasonably well, and then it did a good job. But it wouldn't spray for more that a few seconds at a time without clogging, unless I diluted the paint far too much. Works great with water. Might work well with stain or other thin liquids. Absolutely does not work with paint.
