I always come back to Yonico.

No complaints whatsoever with this buy. My other router bits all have inferiority complex issues and are hiding away in my drawer with chips in their dull cutters.

This bit did the job on aluminum. However, it wasn't as sharp as the Amana bits I have. I decided to try this less costly bit to see how it would perform compared to my Amana and Whiteside bits. It did good but I still prefer Amana and then Whiteside for cutting quality on aluminum. I would recommend this bit for a lower cost alternative to Amana with the expectation that cutting quality will be slightly less also.

For the cost, this is an amazing bit. It cuts effortlessly through maple very cleanly. Just don't overdo it on the feed rate. I have a similar bit from Amana with the purple anti-friction finish and all that fancy stuff, and that bit is extremely loud and doesn't cut as cleanly as this one. This Yonico bit is very quiet by comparison and makes a very satisfying quiet crunching sounds as it cuts. Highly recommended.

I needed a cutter that would cut PVC in a hand held Dewalt router and after some searching i decided to try the Yonico 31215-SC. I noticed a few cutter specifically made for plastic but was advised not to use them in a hand held router as they only had one cutting edge / flute and are ideally suited to a CNC machines. I needed these urgently and as usual Amazon Prime delivered in just two days. I set up a template and with these new bits started cutting the 1/4" thick Aztec PVC sheet. They worked like a dream, by keeping the router speed quite low and moving the router slowly i was able to cut out 12 x 6" dust collection support brackets in just 30 minutes. At a material cost of just $12 i was able to save more than $300 on shop brought brackets. Well worth the cost.

Ordered 2 identical router bits for an important job. Opened first box and used the ordered router bit for most of the job. Opened second box later and found it was a completely different bit and not the one I ordered and not usable. While the boxes were marked with the identical bits I ordered, only one was the correct one. Now past the return date so I have one I'll never be able to use. While the correct router bit performed well as represented, the employee packaging the tools not so much.

First impressions are that this cutter produces a clean cut.. used successfully to make box joints in birch plywood

Just as sharp as more expensive bits and wears pretty well on hardwood ply and MDF, still using it, still pretty sharp. I've pushed it pretty hard in a CNC router, including a few dumb crashes and it's still going strong, pretty good value, I bought more.

Nice router cutter. I tried it in softwood and it is cutting very easy and leaves a very nice finish. I'm not sure for durability as I only used it a few times.

Purchased the 1/8” 3/16” and 1/4” bits. They are excellent quality’s and cut cleanly with minimal tear out. Worth paying a bit more for decent bits, I still consider they are good value.

Fantastic bit. Its been used in the router to drill 2574 holes in 6mm mdf and its done a brilliant job, really smooth finish and still looks brand new.
